Daffodils - Gold-Filled Necklace (White)

Made using hand mixed colours, each individual petal and leaf has been shaped by hand to create a unique piece of jewellery.

Measurements are approximate and may be slightly smaller but never larger than the given measurements. This is due to the petals being placed by hand resulting in slightly different designs every time.

Gold-filled material is made by bonding a layer of gold alloy to a base metal core (typically jeweller's brass but sometimes copper or silver).

It must contain a minimum of 5% gold by weight. This creates a material with the appearance and durability of solid gold, but at a lower cost.

Even with daily wear, gold-fill can last up to 30 years before the layer of gold wears off exposing the metal underneath.

The layer of gold on gold-filled items is 5-10 times thicker than regular gold plating, and 15-20 times thicker than gold electroplate.
